Solomon Kane: Moon of Skulls
A great black shadow lay across the land, cleaving the red flame of the red sunset. To the man who toiled up the jungle trail it loomed like a symbol of death and horror, a menace brooding and terrible, like the shadow of a stealthy assassin flung upon some candle-lit wall...
Moon of Skulls is an action-adventure game based on the story of the same name by Robert E. Howard. It's heavily inspired by late 1970s and early 1980s videogames, particularly Atari offerings such as Adventure, Berzerk, Secret Quest, the Sword Quest saga, Pitfall! and Galahad and the Holy Grail.
In this adventure, you play as Solomon Kane, the avenging Puritan swordsman. Your mission is to save young Marilyn Taferal from the clutches of the evil Queen Nakari before a bloody sacrifice takes place. You will have to venture deep into the jungle and discover the entrance to the terrifying Black Pyramid.
Along your way, you'll face all sorts of monsters and evil men. Luckily enough, you have your trusty sword, and perhaps you can count on the help of your friend N'Longa.
In the main menu, choose “mode” to select the difficulty level (1 being the easiest and 3 being the hardest).
You lose if you run out of time or lives.

-If you find a Sacred Cross, run as fast as you can to the most difficult areas, in order to clear them.
-You cannot destroy the Killer Gorilla. Do NOT try!
-Kane moves very fast. It can be difficult to control at times, but you have to use that in your advantage. Remember also that you can look left and right but never up or down.
-Skeleton Archers are way more dangerous that they look.
-If you find a monkey, ignore him. He's just doing his thing.
(BEWARE SPOILERS) WALKTHROUGH (BEWARE SPOILERS)
-First of all, you have to find three Skulls in order to open the Black Pyramid. The Skulls only spawn in the first area (green) and the second area (dark blue).
-N'longa is chained in the first area (green). In order to free him, you need a Key.
-There's a pirate in the marshes, either at the far north of the map or the far south. Kill him to get the Key.
-If you free N'longa you will get the Ju-ju staff and the ability to shoot projectiles. That's a HUGE game changer!
-The Black Pyramid is at the far east of the map, in one of four possible locations.
-Inside the Pyramid you have to find the stairs to reach the final boss. In order to enter the stairs you have to shoot a projectile to a magic red glowing shield.
